FLY Club

The Edinburgh-based promoter and host of FLY Open Air festival, FLY Club commissioned monthly artwork to promote their upcoming shows. Each month, FLY hosts four weekly shows on a Friday at Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh. For each month’s collection of artwork, a system is designed to create consistent artwork that can accommodate different musical styles reflected in the choice of colour and texture. For every event, a square cover for social media, poster and an animation are created.

Alongside the weekly shows, FLY also hosts one-off events once a month. For these events a unique design is created to differentiate these events from the regular weekly Friday shows. Each artwork uses consistent typographic treatment and visual themes in order to create continuity in the body of work.
